Murphy USA first to offer lottery tickets in Arkansas -

Only days after selling the winning $259.9 million Powerball ticket in South Carolina, Murphy USA is once again making lottery-related headlines after being selected by the Arkansas Lottery Commission to sell the very first tickets to Arkansans.
The Murphy USA station in Magnolia, Ark. became the first lottery retailer to be licensed by the lottery commission, and 56 other Murphy USA stores have also been granted licenses.
According to Arkansas Lottery Director Ernie Passailaigue, Murphy USA is a perfect fit and the commission chose Murphy based on its stellar national reputation and Arkansas community ties.
